Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were outdated and in need of remodeling, but they were clean and had comfy pillows. The service, especially from Amy at the front desk, was top-notch and very customer-centric. The location was great, close to the streetcar line for easy access around the city. The dining experience was outstanding with a variety of fresh and tasty options. However, the hotel facilities were lacking, and the value for the money spent was not ideal.
Upon arrival at the hotel, I noticed a slightly unpleasant smell in the rooms, akin to animal pee, and the cleanliness left much to be desired with hair scattered in the shower and around the room. The rooms seemed in need of updating and felt damp. On the plus side, the service I received was exceptional with a very friendly and accommodating staff. The optimal location made it easy to explore the French Quarter and enjoy local eateries, although I had to deal with some street noise. The dining experience lacked variety, but the homemade dishes were phenomenal, and the facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay.
I stayed at the hotel and found it ideally located in the calm Garden District of New Orleans, close to the National War Museum and right on the streetcar line. The rooms were small and situated above the restaurant, which was not ideal. Although the rooms felt damp and not thoroughly cleaned, the location near the museum and the beautiful setting made the stay enjoyable.
